Bribery undermines democracy and the rule of law. It poses serious threats to sustained economic progress in developed and emerging economies and to the proper operation of free markets. The effects of bribery are felt globally and acts of bribery can incur significant criminal sanctions.
The MACC (amendment) Act 2018 was passed in Parliament on 4th April 2018 and it affects both employers and employees alike. The purpose of this talk is to inform our fellow Malaysians the salient points of the Act and how to mitigate risks in the course of work in your organization.
Led by an MACC trainer (retired) and a CBI officer, this one day talk introduces the concepts of anti-bribery, explains the benefits of an Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS), and the key requirements and context of ISO 37001:2016. It is applicable to all organizations including the public, private and voluntary/not-for-profit sectors.
This talk is for you if you:
» want to know the latest anti-bribery law that may affect you even if you do not bribe
